Consultancy Assignments

TNRDC has been taking up a host of project development and consulting assignments aimed at enhancing the delivery capabilities of agencies/ institutions involved in infrastructure sector.

The assignments carried out so far under this category are as follows :

Tamil Nadu Road Fund Study

The Study assessed the feasibility of setting up Tamil Nadu Road Fund. The Study was taken up on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The recommendations of the Study are under consideration of Government of Tamil Nadu.

Karnataka Road Fund Study

As a follow-up of Tamil Nadu Road Fund Study, the Government of Karnataka had entrusted the assignment of assessing the feasibility of setting up a Karnataka Road Fund to TNRDC. The Study was taken up under the Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project (KSHIP) funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

The Study recommended the broad contours of setting up the Karnataka Road Fund including its objectives, sources and applications of the Fund, management structure and operating policies and procedures.
